More Art

Well, more time has passed. So I'm posting more pictures that I think turned out really well.

Taps (the red head below) is a story character I'm writing a story about w/Mom. It's gonna be an awesome book. The little white ball of fluff is actually my sister's character (I drew this picture for her B-day) and isn't in the story. I put him in to tailor it more to my sis.

I don't think there's much to write on this one. Diagnosis: Love! Is really what it's all about. ;)

The Heck You Will. This one is more brutal and involved. If you want to know more, you should go to my DA webpage for this one: http://stravenlite.deviantart.com/gallery/10633001#/d4lshlk I mostly just liked it for the dramatic effect.

Brenna and Mee. Two major characters in the Chest of Souls (COS) series. (Photoshop CS5)

The 3 Sisters. Also COS characters. Finally done and complete. I did single shots of all of them, then pasted them all together. Tahloni is my fav out of the 3. (Photoshop CS5)

And there's a lot more where that came from!

Art/Life update

Let's see, my last update was in 2010 and now it's 2012.

Much time has passed. And sooo much has happened! The best part being that mom has 12 books published and she's pretty much done w/her 13th!

I'm still mostly on Deviant Art. My talent has improved loads, but that's also due to learning how to use a digital pen and colors. Big diff from colored pencils and paper.

Some shots from 2010:

Shots from 2011:

Below is a picture of Wynna Ryn, my favorite character from the Chest of Souls series that Mom wrote. This is really after all the bks are done and she's taking a trip down memory lane, but I thought the swirls turned out nicely.

Below is a picture of a character I based off of a Star Wars game. The game was called Kotor 2(Knights of the Old Republic 2, the original). I invented a new race called the "Kumari", their planet "Kalamar", and ecosystem and have throughly enjoyed the journey. For more info on Kyla and her race, go here: http://stravenlite.deviantart.com/art/The-Kumari-Culture-139996130

The picture below was a comic piece I did for a game I really loved. It's called Mass Effect. Mature rating for many reasons. But I loved the plot and storyline, plus you could choose your gender and modify the way you looked. So I was able to make a butt kicking heroine and enjoyed every bit of it!

As you can see, I've accomplished a lot and come pretty far in 2 years. I've posted those that I felt displayed my talent the best. I've literally done hundreds of pictures both by regular pen and paper to the new digital stuff. I've focused more on digital to improve my talent there. Took me a while to get the hang of looking at the screen while my hand moved to draw. But I've got it now. (wipes forehead) Thankfully!

Another big thing that's happened is I've given up gaming (console and computer). And those who know me understand what a huge deal that was. Which means...no Mass Effect 3 or Skyrim ...ouch. All in all, I felt it best to give it up so my future wouldn't be so dictated by the draw of the game.

So, I've really turned to my artwork and story talents to make up for the hole that's now being filled by my artistic ability. I can also focus more on being human again.

As my talents continue to improve, I search for a way to have a better life and explore other possibilities.

Hey!

Long time, no write.
I've been co-authoring a comic/novel called "Kotor Origins". It's been the biggest/longest project I've been working on for over a year now. The front cover is done by Misao-Chan, my co-author!

Back Cover: Aneth Willish and Kyla Ekonte had no idea that they were about to embark on a remarkable journey. A journey that would help them discover who they were, prepare them for what lay ahead, and strengthen their resolve to remain as sisters throughout it all. But the lure of the Darkside is always there... (yeah, I know it needs work, but this is all for fun)

This is the link that will take you right to it. Every page is set in order: http://stravenlite.deviantart.com/gallery/#Kotor-Origins
For those of you who have strict filters, you might not be able to see it. My apologies if you can't. It's due to this being posted on an art website, if that tells you anything. As long as you stay on my section, you should be safe.
